Five ProBall Players Crowned MJL Grand Final Champions

Championships are earned.

And this weekend, five ProBall athletes proved exactly what months—sometimes years—of consistent work can achieve.

A huge congratulations to Darcy, Tristan, Lincoln, Charlie and Josh on winning the MJL Grand Finals with their Sydney Comets teams.

Watching these boys celebrate a championship is special, but the trophy is only the final chapter of a much bigger story.

The Work Started Long Before the Grand Final

People see the medal. They see the team photo. They see the celebrations. What they don’t see are the hundreds of training sessions that came first.

The extra shots after practice. The early mornings. The days when confidence was low but they kept showing up anyway.

Champions aren’t created in one game. They’re built one training session at a time.

At ProBall, we’re proud of every championship. But we’re even prouder of the people these boys are becoming.

We’ve watched them grow into players who compete hard, support their teammates, respond to adversity and stay humble through success. Those qualities matter far more than any trophy ever could. Basketball teaches lessons that last long after the final buzzer.

A Win for the Families Too

Behind every young athlete is a family making sacrifices most people never see. The early alarms. The long drives. The weekends spent in basketball stadiums. The encouragement after difficult games. The belief they continued to show, even when things weren’t easy.

These championships belong to the families just as much as the players. Thank you for everything you do.
