Congratulations to Elke and Amielle — Selected to the Sydney Comets U14 Girls Team

We are incredibly proud to announce that two of our own — Elke and Amielle — have been selected to the Sydney Comets U14 Girls Representative Team for the 2026 season.

This is a significant achievement, and one that deserves to be recognised and celebrated. Selection to a representative team at this level is not given — it is earned through months and years of committed, disciplined development.

Congratulations to both athletes, and to their families who have supported them along the way.

What Makes a Rep Player?

Elke and Amielle didn't become representative players overnight. Their selection is the result of qualities that we try to develop in every player who walks through the doors of a ProBall Academy session:

• Work ethic — The willingness to show up, work hard, and keep going when things get difficult
• Coachability — The ability to receive feedback openly and apply it — not just once, but consistently over time
• Consistency — Turning up week after week, session after session, and building a track record of genuine engagement with their development

These values are not specific to basketball. They are life skills. And we are proud that both Elke and Amielle have demonstrated them in abundance.

How ProBall Develops Players for Representative Basketball

Off the back of this announcement, we are also excited to share details of a new membership option we have created specifically for players who have already been selected to representative teams.

The ProBall Rep Membership is now available. Here is what you need to know:

What It Is

This is not a trial program. It is not a pathway to representative selection. The Rep Membership is designed exclusively for athletes who have already been selected to a representative team and are looking for a flexible, high-quality training environment to complement their rep schedule.

What It Includes

• Full access to ProBall Academy sessions across all our Sydney locations
• Flexible scheduling that works around representative training and game commitments
• A reduced membership rate that reflects the training load that representative players are already carrying through their rep program

Who It's For

This membership is for confirmed representative players who want to continue developing with ProBall alongside their rep commitments — without paying a full membership rate that doesn't reflect their actual availability.
